The guest house is nicely decorated and an ideal place for a peaceful break. The staff is lovely and accommodating. The breakfast with a view of Loch Goil is a wonderful experience. The location is beautiful and tranquil, with easy access to the center, restaurants, food shops, and the Loch. it is near the Carrick Castle.

The staff at this lovely hotel were friendly. the double room had a fireplace and a TV, which were convenient. - the bed was extremely comfortable. - the bathroom was sparkling clean. - I had a fantastic weekend there.

What an amazing stay we had at Lochwood Guest House! The hosts, Don and Lorraine, were incredibly welcoming and made us feel right at home. The view of the loch from the house is absolutely breathtaking - we couldn't get enough of it! The rooms were spotless and the bed was so comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep. Breakfast in the morning was delicious and served with a view of the loch, which made it even more special. We also loved the wooden cabin by the loch - a perfect spot to relax and enjoy the wildlife. The location is peaceful and serene, although the access roads can be a bit challenging for those not used to narrow roads. While the restaurants and pubs are a bit far out, Lorraine informed us of this beforehand, so we were prepared. we had an incredible "home away from home" experience with unbeatable views and exceptional hosts. We highly recommend Lochwood Guest House and can't wait to return!

I loved the beautifully decorated rooms and the sea view was a nice bonus. The staff were really helpful and the location was stunning. The rooms were spacious and had everything I needed including an electric kettle, central heating, and an iron.
